Just as you have done personal narratives in 1st Quarter, Persuasive Essays in 2nd Quarter, and Research Essays in 3rd Quarter, your 4th Quarter writing project will be on another type of writing—Expository Essays. You have written an expository essay so far, which is the comparison and contrast essay on two of your classmates. Now, you will do a more extensive comparison and contrast essay on two topics you will research online.

Here are the steps of your project:
1) Create a VENN Diagram out of the facts that you have researched from your online sources.
2) Create a Bibliography of your online sources (minimum of 3 sources for each topic).
3) Write a rough draft using the 4-paragraph format (Intro, Similarities, Differences, Conclusion).
4) After having your rough draft proofread by two of your classmates, revise your rough draft.
5) Create a cover page with a picture, creative title, your name, class name, and date of submission.
6) Turn in your completed project comprised on your cover page, VENN Diagram, essay, and bibliography.

How your project is graded:
Cover page =5%
VENN Diagram = 20%
Essay (capitalization, punctuation, spelling, transitional words, and details)= 40%
Bibliography = 20%
4-paragraph format followed = 15%
